consultancy and freelancing for security/sustainability/markets
In 2016–17, I wrote a series of articles covering food security, data innovations, meat free science and tech that were published in The Conversation, sparking a wave of over half a million readers and widespread syndication across major global media outlets, it was clear it resonated. The catalyst in all this was my- some would call, groundbreaking book- Global Food Security and Supply (published by Wiley 2016). It laid the foundation for everything that followed. I still mentor researchers, which essentially means crystallising the realisation that nothing is too complex if you are asking the right questions and can draw a graph. After spinning out MPCR GreenEye, I'm still in the North, on holiday when we can, walking our dogs every day and getting the logs in for winter.
