This all started with a series of articles covering global food markets and innovation for The Conversation. It sparked a wave of over half a million readers and widespread syndication across major global media outlets such as CNN and Ouest France. The catalyst in all this was my book, Global Food Security and Supply (Wiley 2016) and it laid the foundation for everything that followed. I am not writing as much now as I was back then but do mentor researchers who write great things. This is often a case of crystallising their realisation that nothing is too complex if you are asking the right questions. After spinning out MPCR GreenEye, I'm still in the North, on holiday when I can, walking my dogs every day and getting the logs in for winter.
