Welcome to Wayne’s Media Centre—where bold ideas meet global impact. It all started in 2016–17, when a series of thought-provoking articles in The Conversation sparked a wave of international attention. With over half a million readers and widespread syndication across major global media outlets, it was clear: this work resonated. Since then, the Media Centre has grown into a dynamic collection of over 70 articles, each one pushing the boundaries of how we think about global food systems, sustainability, and resilience. The sample stories reported here are updated regularly and they don’t just inform—they inspire action, spark applied research programmes and guide us to the right solutions. The catalyst? Wayne’s groundbreaking book, Global Food Security and Supply (2016). It laid the foundation for a solution-driven approach to some of the world’s most urgent challenges—and set the stage for everything that followed. Today, we continue to lead through cutting edge risk assessments and innovative application of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Whether you’re a policymaker, business leader, or curious reader, Wayne’s Media Centre offers the insights to help build a sustainable future.
